Privacy Policy
Last updated 6 September 2026
This policy covers the website at htmulching.com, operated by HT Mulching. It explains what we collect when you contact us, why, and what we do with it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
The short version: we collect what you type into the quote form so we can quote your job, plus basic anonymous traffic data. We do not sell it, and we do not send marketing you did not ask for.
What we collect
When you submit the quote form, we receive the information you enter:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address
- The town or zip code of the job
The form also records where you arrived from: the page you submitted from, the site that referred you, and any advertising campaign tag on the link. This tells us which advertising is worth paying for. It is attached to your enquiry and is not used to build a profile of you.
If you call, text or email us instead, we hold whatever you send us in that message, along with your number or address.
How we use it
- To prepare and send your quote
- To contact you about the job you asked about
- To keep a record of work done, for invoicing and warranty
We do not add you to a mailing list off the back of a quote request, and we do not sell, rent or trade your details to anyone.
Who else touches your data
A small number of services handle the data on our behalf. Each one only receives what it needs to do its job:
- Netlify: hosts this site and receives the form submission.
- Resend: sends the confirmation email to you and the alert to us.
- Google Analytics and Google Ads: anonymous, aggregated traffic measurement, if and when they are switched on. These do not receive your name, phone number or email address.
Cookies
The site stores a small record in your browser noting how you first arrived, so that if you come back later and submit the form we can still tell which advertising brought you. It contains no personal information and never leaves your browser except as part of a form you choose to submit. Clearing your browser data removes it.
If analytics is enabled, Google sets its own cookies. You can opt out of those with Google's browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.
How long we keep it
Quote requests are kept for as long as it takes to quote and complete the job, and afterwards for our business records and any warranty period. If you asked for a quote and never went ahead, tell us and we will delete your enquiry.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email mike@htmulching.com or call (858) 926-6269 and we will sort it out. There is no form to fill in and no fee.
Children
This is a website for booking machinery work. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
